535 Days

It's been 535 days since my life was forever changed. Sure, there have been other changes and life continues to evolve, but FiG's birth was a big'un. She had a well baby check up today. I'm happy to report that other than a minor cold she is presently healthy. And other than the grueling race to the I-teeth finish line, she is presently happy. Oh, and despite the fact that 80 out of 100 other girls her age are shorter and have smaller heads, she is of average weight. FiG's head has grown nearly 6" in circumference. Her weight has more than tripled. And she's almost a foot taller than the day she was born.

As I reflect on this, what is most significant for me isn't the number of days or the percentile charts; it's how differently I am amused and entertained and gratified and motivated and confident and scared and humbled and loved than I was 536 days ago.

that's a whole lot of days and even more amazing moments.
I'm awed by you growing into this adventure each day as it comes.

It's awesome that you've started a blog. Looks like FiG's gonna be a tall drink of water!
