Must Haves: For a Minnesota winter

8. Polarized sunglasses. Yeah, but any old sunglasses will do, right? If you've ever worn polarized lenses you would agree with me that no, any old lens will not do. I got my first pair a number of years ago when I had laser vision correction. My eyes were even more sensitive to light after the surgery so I followed A-Mo's lead and got my first pair of polarized sunglasses. I just got my second pair last fall. You don't treat them like a $7.99 pick up at the gas station. They're expensive. They're nice. And they make a huge difference in the winter up here. With the low angle of the sun and the glare off the snow pack, you really need a good pair of sunglasses.
